DANGEROUS CORNER by J. B. Priestley Rotherham Civic Theatre commencing 24th April 2012 Saturday evening, June 1932, Radio sounds of Rag and Jazz, Cigar and Cigarette smoke in the air, fine old Brandy and a group of friends enjoying themselves at a country retreat. The night runs smoothly but the appearance of a Cigarette box and a chance remark threatens to expose a tangled web of secrets, lies and deceit that will change all of there lives forever and there seemingly calm world begins to disintegrate. Danger is just around the corner and some truths are better left unspoken... |

BEDROOM FARCE by Alan Ayckbourn Rotherham Civic Theatre commencing 26th June 2012 Ernest and Della are preparing to go out to celebrate their wedding anniversary. Malcolm and Kate are preparing for a housewarming party. Nick and Jan should be there but Nick has hurt his back and is preparing to rest up in bed. All three bedrooms are visited in turn by Trevor (Ernest and Della's son) and Susannah, who have marital problems. Chaos reigns everywhere in their wake. Bedroom Farce is the story of one hectic, hilarious night with Ayckbourn at his brilliant best. |
